|Ladies watchmaker BEDAT & C° celebrates beauty with Chariots of Fire|
In a fitting tribute to London's 2012 Olympic Games, the Spring Season at London's Hampstead Theatre led the world premiere of Mike Bartlett's stage adaptation of the award-winning film "Chariots of Fire", a story of British athletics glory at the 1924 Paris Olympics.
Directed by Hampstead Theatre's Artistic Director Edward Hall, Chariots of Fire promises to be the theatrical event of London’s Olympic year. Award-winning designer Miriam Buether transformed Hampstead Theatre into its very own stadium giving an immersive experience that evokes the Olympics of the time. The production also features music of the legendary Vangelis score with additional live music and arrangements by Tony Award winning composer Jason Carr.
BEDAT & Co – “Craftsmen of fine timepieces for women” is proud to be sharing the experience, as the association reaffirms the Swiss luxury womens' watch brand’s core values of saluting art that not only celebrates creativity, but also committed to showcasing works of beauty to the world.
The stage play runs from 9th of May to 16th of June 2012, at Hampstead Theatre London.
