Swiss AOSC certification on every Bedat & CO watch

BEDAT & Co has created its own new quality label to guarantee the Swiss origin of all components and their manufacture. This certificate meets the most stringent manufacturing standards established by BEDAT & Co and forms an integral part of the guarantee.

Each BEDAT & Co watch is manufactured and checked in accordance with the A.O.S.C.® (CERTIFICATE OF SWISS ORIGIN). The eleven criteria of A.O.S.C.® are:

1. Each BEDAT & Co watch is assembled in Switzerland with original swiss components.
2. Assembly and quality control are carried out wholly in Switzerland.
3. The movements are produced and assembled in Switzerland
4. The cases and bracelets are of Swiss origin. They are manufactured in the Swiss and French Jura mountains.
5. The clasp, dial and hands are made in Switzerland.
6. The sapphire crystal is of Swiss origin.

7. The outstanding finish meets the following criteria:

The materials used are gold, steel, precious or semi precious stones.
Our hallmark identifies each component.
The crowns are stamped with the “SWISS A.O.S.C. BEDAT & Co” logo.
The internal casing rings are in polished metal.
The leather straps are rembordé – full padded – and hand stitched, using the finest hides available.
The inside of the case back is grained.

8. Water resistance is tested to a minimum of 50 metres.
9. The watch is guaranteed for 5 years against any technical defects (battery, crystals, straps are not covered by the guarantee).
10. Each BEDAT & Co watch carries an individual serial number which permits its origin and authenticity to be established.
11. Only approved BEDAT & Co dealers are authorized to provide the BEDAT & Co International Guarantee in accordance with BEDAT & Co instructions.
