|The “Joaillier de l’Acier” Exults In BASELWORLD 2010|
BEDAT & Co confirms its legitimacy and leadership in feminine designs and takes the opportunity of Baselworld 2010 to look back over a year of tremendous activity since the last edition of the fair.
It is with a lot of emotion that Frank Low, key decision-maker for BEDAT & Co and president of LuxuryConcepts, celebrates the success of the Art Deco Swiss Watchmaker. He explains: “As a purveyor of fine timepieces, we are especially proud to be the defenders of BEDAT & Co’s strong values: drawing upon a 500-year heritage of Swiss watchmaking traditions in the Jura region, BEDAT & Co is a genuinely honest house, preserving the highest standards of craftsmanship to guarantee the Swiss quality of all components and know-how. Further more; BEDAT & Co – the “Joaillier de l’Acier” – is one of the only brands renowned for its high-end timeless designs manufactured especially for ladies.” Mr Low concludes: “We always believed that with such powerful and sincere values, the Geneva house would find worldwide recognition. I am happy to share our global expansion with you today”.
The brand has indeed enjoyed substantial commercial development despite the economic context, expanding its strong retail network with successful openings across five continents.
Going beyond familiar territories, the Swiss watchmaker has achieved business in many new markets such as Denmark, Sweden, Finland and Iceland, as well as Norway. There is more! Recently, BEDAT & Co has signed distributions contracts for North America & Canada, South America, Caribbean, Mexico, Central Europe, South and Western Africa, and Nigeria, Ghana. Many more crucial markets like Germany, North and Eastern Europe or the Russian states are in the midst of contract finalisation and are expected to complete before Baselworld 2010 is over.
To date, many points of sales have been implemented across Asia. The brand has also established prime Shop-In-Shop presence within the premises of prestigious luxury malls. In Middle East, where BEDAT & Co feminine timepieces are highly appreciated, the Geneva house is represented in Qatar, UAE and Bahrain.
Initially, many hopes were pinned on the vibrant markets of the Far East and Asia, yet the pleasant surprise of the worldwide acceptance and success of the Geneva-based House is beyond expectations.
The Swiss Artisan is pleased to experience rewarding success and enthusiasm shown by worldwide prime leading partners. BEDAT & Co. is extremely proud and fortunate to have established such high-quality relationships given the crisis context of the past year. The brand is determined to show appreciation to all its defenders and to maintain its efforts throughout the coming year.
Baselworld 2010 is an opportunity for the feminine Swiss watchmaker to keep its promises by presenting its intricate yet extremely elegant designs for women.
Reflecting 500 years of genius and horological mastery, BEDAT & Co’s core values are deeply rooted in the finest art of Swiss watchmaking. Thanks to the unswerving collaboration with the best ateliers of the Jura Valley. The brand also has the highest standards of master craftsmanship, stamped with the A.O.S.C label, the ultimate symbol and guarantee of quality and ethics certifying the Swiss origin of all components.
When it comes to serving BEDAT & Co’s knowledgeable clientele, benchmark refinement and excellence remain the order of the day. All BEDAT & Co timepieces are covered by an official Five-Year Warranty.
