Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (November 24, 2012) - Swiss luxury women watchmaker BEDAT & Co - Craftsmen of fine timepieces for women held a Royal Gala Dinner to debut its signature 2012 collection inspired by the Art Deco design in conjunction with Starhill Gallery’s annual event “A Journey Through Time VI”- Asia’s largest luxury watch and jewellery fair for the sixth consecutive year.
The arrival of the Sultan Selangor DYMM Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah Al-Haj along with Tan Sri Francis Yeoh, CBE - managing director of YTL Corporation, Mr Frank Low- president of BEDAT & Co marked the commencement of this lavish gala dinner at Shook!, Starhill Gallery. This stunning and exceptional highlight piece, Ref 887 features a trend- setting design of a radiating floral that sparkles with dazzling diamonds and a unique rotating diamond at its 6 o’clock position, winning the heart of haute-jewellery aficionados with streams of exclamations and adorations.
Keeping the dining spirit at a high pace during the night were cheeky performances by the Leading Man, whose avant-garde musical theatre shows are renowned in Australia. Being one of the most elegant nights on the calendar, when ladies wear floor-length gowns with pearl ornaments and men sport their smartest suit, the best “ Glamourous Pearl” dressed lady and gentleman were each awarded a BEDAT & Co watch.
